The Day Training programs are designed for adults 18 years and over with developmental/intellectual disabilities to provide:
- Meaningful activities that are designed to foster the acquisition of skills, build positive social behavior and interpersonal competence, foster greater independence, and personal choice; and/or
- Career planning or pre-vocational activities to develop experiential learning opportunities and career options consistent with the participant’s skills and interests; or
- Supported activities and supports to maintain skills and functioning and to prevent or slow regression of skills
- Activities that involve technical, audio, virtual, streaming and visual modes designed to adapt and develop social interactions, community involvement and leadership skills
Vision

Using methods that involve technical, audio, virtual, arts and hands-on, experience and visual modes.
Core Focus:
To allow individuals with intellectual and behavioral disabilities to remain in or return to the community in the less restrictive way possible by providing them alternatives and skills, designed for 18 years and older, designed to fit their abilities.
Training Activities we will incorporate
This list does not include or exclude all that may be utilized within this program. Every day we reserve the right to observe methods and techniques and provide the best methods for our participants as possible. However, it does incorporate the program’s visions.
- Daily regime, providing words of encouragement; requesting they speak them and/or program return positive words of affirmation.
- rovide motivational short dialogues and visual molds to promote, allowing time to engage in the message afterwards
- Visit different community activities (if without restrictions), to engage with others through activities and exploring.
