Company Overview
THE NEW COOL LLC was formed on January 15, 2016, as a Limited Liability Company under Kentucky state laws and headed by Danesia Hodges.
Danesia Hodges is the founder of the company. She holds a BA in Business Administration, a minor in Accounting, and has been a business owner working with youth and adults with and without developmental or intellectual disabilities since 2010 (known as LD and BD).
From 2014-2017, THE NEW COOL LLC committed its efforts to focus on developing its programs, working alongside JCPS (Jefferson County Public Schools) middle and high school students as certified substitutes. Within the community, we offer career panels and local church events focusing on uplifting youth and adults characterized as less likely to succeed and those with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
In 2015, the active JCPS superintendent Dr. Hargan and the present Dr. Polio office administration approved the program to be administered throughout the Jefferson County Public Schools. We have over 15 years of professional experience and ten years of youth development experience.
THE NEW COOL LLC’s key accomplishments started in 2010, apart from its development purpose. From working with high-profile professionals to youth and adults with behavioral disabilities from low-income and low-performing environments, we created inspiration to boost the morale of a disadvantaged population.
Danesia Hodges, our Executive Director, has recognized three methods that led us to explore further ways to accomplish promotion within groups and individuals we help.
These methods include:
1st – She acknowledged the benefits of intrinsic and extrinsic rewards in creating an environment that benefits all enrolled children, especially if we foster inspiration.
2nd – She recognized the benefits of exploring through learning about different cultures and exploring different communities. We also provide them with new experiences as we engage and promote their interest in learning and understanding.
3rd- She found that music allows individuals to express themselves better and build a sense of calmness and creativity.
Mission Statement
THE NEW COOL LLC’s mission is to inspire and empower its participants in the development of their full potential. Its aim is to support and aid the division of developmental or intellectual participants within KY. It will utilize methods through various techniques to achieve skills that develop independence and leadership by teaching life skills and providing community support development.
